Auto CAD Tutor

Prepared a two week intensive Auto CAD training course in 2D and 3D. The course was taught to 18 students aged 15-17 years on internship for the Erasmus plus programme with different levels of understanding and experience with AutoCAD and other drafting software skills.

All students completed the course with high marks, used English language to communicate with each other throughout the course which also improved their spoken English as well as learning to work as a team using actual printed drawing projects to scale off and redraw in AutoCAD.

External Speaker/Presenter

Attend Dublin Institute of Technology as an external speaker/presenter voluntarily. 

Prepared and presented numerous presentations to both full-time and part-time Construction Management Students on my personal involvement of working on construction projects in Ireland and my own research of Irish Building Regulations.

CAD Technician/Administrator, Aircraft Leasing Support Services

Carried out background checks for aviation engineering consultants, ensuring all human resource documentation was up to date and met legislation to provide the management team documentation on required referencing and qualifications.

Communicated and kept track of engineers across the globe to determine appropriate candidates to carry out maintenance, upkeep and engine aircraft checks on behalf of Aircraft Leasing Clients.

Collaborated with engineering support services to provide detailed CAD drawings of aircrafts and provided training to engineers on company standards and system use.

Key Achievements:
I pioneered the introduction of an FTP system and provided IT support, training and assistance with local and overseas engineers to maximise usage which improved efficiency and reduced paperwork.

Spearheaded a forum for all engineers to utilise internally to enable online discussions with instant response.

Pascall + Watson Architects - Lead Architectural Technician

Worked as the lead architectural technician on the Retail fit out for Terminal 1 Extension, Dublin Airport where individual concessionair stands were ascertained with specific specifications for high profile organisations.

One of 5 Architectural ‘T2 team’ members n-site construction design team members, working with all contractors and engineers on the construction drawings for (Pier E, Terminal 2, Dublin Airport).

Completed the tender package for Irish Rail accessibility upgrade from Belfast to Galway rail line.

Keenan Lynch Architecture - Architectural Technician

Worked as the lead architectural technician on a number of projects, liaised with site staff, designated work and reviewed Auto CAD drawings of junior members of Staff.

Attended multiple site meetings to record minutes from internal and client meetings.

Assisted business owner with pulling various parts of industrial units project together and gained a reputation due to outstanding contribution and ability to learn quickly.

Trained new staff members ensuring correct office drawings, standards and filing systems were used.

Royceton (Zoe Developments) - Junior Architectural Technician

I worked in the head office on the design team as an architectural technician on detailed AutoCAD drawings from Sketch Scheme, to Planning, to Tender and onto Construction stage of a number of Multimillion Euro Projects.

Liaised and co-ordinated project work with on site Contractors, Engineers and Quantity Surveyors.

Lead architectural technician on one off dwelling project.

Attend Yoga & Pilates Classes every week, I love to dance  so i became a Zumba Dance Instructor
